Miss Kendall was such a sweet, tiny little peanut! At 3 weeks old she was only weighing 6 1/2 pounds. Look at the FULL HEAD of DARK HAIR!! She was an angel and hardly made a peep the entire time! Isn't she lovely?!

I love it when friends from my past look me up and ask me to do their family pictures! Annette and I went to Jr. High and High School together. We haven't stayed in the best of contact, but she's my favorite kind of person...the kind that you can just pick right back up where you left off :o) She's got a darling little family, doesn't she?!

Katie is a fellow photographer friend that I met through FaceBook. She is the owner of Potatobug Photography in Franklin, ID. She's the AWESOME photographer that took our family pictures recently. We decided several months back that we would "trade" for pictures, and I'll be honest...it's a little nerve wracking doing work for another photographer. Obviously she likes my style, or she wouldn't have agreed to trade (and vice versa), but I was still really nervous. She's got a family of 7, so it took some time and LOTS of shutter clicks to try and get them all looking at the camera at the same time. Her little 3 year old boy...He had his own ideas alot of the time, but I LOVE that his personality totally shows through in the pics. That's what it's about, right?! Capturing WHO THEY ARE?! I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I hope she is too! P.S. Didn't she do a FABULOUS job putting their clothes together?! LOVE the Bright colors!!

Here are a few more images I've worked on from my Bro & Sis-n-law's wedding a few weeks ago. Aren't they a great couple?! She had so many neat decorations and ideas for their reception. Her and her mom put EVERYTHING together, and it turned out absolutely fantastic. I requested to not be the main photographer for the day, so I spent my time shooting more of the "details" of it for them.

She had everyone write on a piece of fabric that she will later turn into a quilt...Cute idea, huh?!

These guys were great to work with. They didn't have anything specific in mind, so they just let me run with my ideas. Hopefully they like the images we got ;o) And their cute little boys had so much energy! I had a blast chasing them around!

It seems like this little bun was in the oven forever! I could hardly wait for him to get here. He's my best friend's new little bundle, and he is oh so sweet! I could hold him, snuggle him and squeeze him ALL DAY LONG! There's just something about a newborn that I can't get enough of. I'm glad she had another one, so I can enjoy him and not have to have another one of my own ;o)

{Maddie} Utah Wedding Photographer

I was so honored to be able to take Bridal pictures for my new Sister-in-Law! I've been dying to post these, and yesterday was finally the BIG day. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fabulous. I'm so excited to have Maddie as a sister-in-law. She's such a sweet girl!! Check out how stunning she looked in her dress~

Nothing compares to the sweet smell of a Newborn baby! This little tiny guy really knows how to make a girl baby hungry. His momma is going to have her hands full. He has a 5 year old brother, and a 13 month old brother. Hopefully he continues to be a good baby for her! If not, I told her I would take him ;o)

I'm so glad I had the priviledge of taking pictures of this cute family! A cute spunky bunch with ALL different personalities. That always makes for a great shoot! One Facebook follower commented that they reminded her of "The Little Rascals", and I think I'd have to agree :o) Alfalfa, Buckwheat & Darla..haha!

I had the opportunity to take pictures of these handsome boys over the weekend! When I booked the appointment with their mom, she kind of gave me a heads up as to their personalities...One of them is VERY serious (It was like pulling teeth to get him to crack even a half of a smile..haha!), one of them is into Hip-hop dancing, and the other is into TaeKwon Do...Can you guess which personality belongs to which boy? Hopefully they didn't think our session was too bad...I am happy with the images we got!! And I hope their mom is too :o)

Meet Kash... He is seriously the happiest little baby! He was ALL smiles almost the entire time! I love this stage where they are content to be set down, but aren't quite mobile yet. It makes getting some great shots pretty easy.

Tied the Knot!! Justin and Macy were married the morning of our photoshoot!! I knew they were getting married, but I had no idea it was the same day as our photoshoot was scheduled for...and I don't think they really knew either. They had been engaged for awhile, and just decided to get it done while Justin was home since he's an Over the Road truck driver. Anyways, Macy is like wonderwoman for being able to get married, have a wedding breakfast, and get home to get 5 girls plus herself ready again for family pictures! Congrats you two!! You're perfect for each other!!

Natalee and I have been friends for years. We met at Discover Card back in the day when we both worked there. She's one of the kinds of friends that you can go for 6 months or a year without talking to, and pick right back up where you left off! Mindy and I went to High School together. We didn't really become friends until long after school though. She's one of the big reasons that Missy Lee Photography has been successful. She has been an AWESOME referral source for me...and for that, I'm so grateful! We've worked together and watched each other's kids (so we COULD work). She's the kind of friend that when life gets in the way, you can go for 6 months without talking and then when you do connect, it's like you never missed a beat. Tara and I go back quite aways...I think to Junior High~ I love that I can still be in touch with so many people that I went to school with! It helps business...that's for sure :o) I have FaceBook to thank for that! It was a bit brisk up the canyon when we did this shoot, but I think the kids still did a great job! Christie and Greg have been good friends of mine since Jr. High and High School. She was actually one of my Bridesmaids at our wedding. And she's my Hairdresser :o) She says its a chore to even get Greg to agree to have pictures done. He's not a big fan of being in front of the camera. Her girls are like her...they don't mind it. Her boy, he pretty much takes after his dad ;o) I think we got some really great shots though. And what a perfect day it was for some family pictures! We have seriously had the most beautiful weather this September. I'm going to be really sad when the cold moves in.

What a cute and fun family to work with! They were troopers considering we did their shoot in South Jordan, just a couple hours after the Herriman wildfire started. We had to deal with crazy winds, and the whole sky was filled with smoke, which made it difficult to breathe. And even through all of that, we still got some great images!! Thanks for allowing me to take your family pictures~
